1. Seura suunnittelee nettisivujen uudistamista. Jos voit olla apuna uudistamistyössä, olemme todella kiitollisia. Apua tarvitaan tekstien kirjoittamiseen, valokuvien päivittämiseen ja tietojen siirtämiseen. Todennäköisesti koodaus ostetaan ja suunnitteluun ja ulkonäköön saamme apua. Jos voit olla mukana tässä, ilmoittaudu vastaamalla tähän sähköpostiin.
2. Syyskokous on 14.11. Suurin osa nykyisestä hallituksesta on ilmoittanut olevansa käytettävissä myös ensi vuonna, on hyvä jos yksi tai kaksi uutta hallituksen jäsentä tulisi vuosittain mukaan. Etukäteen voit ilmoittautua nykyiselle hallitukselle kiinnostuneisuuden, tai tulemalla paikalle syyskokoukseen. Kokouskutsu tulee lokakuun lopussa.
3. Uusi boulderointihalli Kaamos Climbing avaa ovet Limingantullisa 21.10.2023. Avajaispäivän aikataulu:
Klo 10-18 avoimet ovet, tervetuloa kiipeämään ja tutustumaan!
klo 18.30-24.00 iltajuhlat (vain kutsulla mutta paikkoja on vielä vapaana! Kutsua voi tiedustella events@kaamosclimbing.fi)

Tulossa marraskuusta alkaen maanantaille seuran vuoro 18-20.30, jonka omakustannehinta on 5 € per käynti, siitä kuitenkin lisätietoa myöhemmin.
4.Oulun kiipeilykeskuksen 10v. syntymäpäivän kunniaksi Oulun Kiipeilykeskus järjestää Oulu Open -boulderkisat juhlapäivänä 4.11 Kisa on suunnattu yli 14 vuotiaille ja se on jaettu kahteen sarjaan: naiset ja miehet. Kisamaksu (25€) sisältää kisan osallistumismaksun, kisan jälkeisen ruokailun sekä pääsyn illan juhliin. Mikäli et halua osallistua kisoihin voit ostaa lipun myös vain illan juhliin. Juhlissa on luvassa pientä purtavaa, musiikkia sekä tottakai sauna ja palju ovat lämpimänä! Myös sunnuntai aamuna klo 9.30-12 tarvitsemme apuja, järjestämme silloin alakouluikäisten 10 v juhla boulderkilpailut.
5. Jääkiipeilyn jatkokurssi on auki. Kurssille otetaan 4 tai jos porukkaa ilmoittautuu enemmän, lisäämme kurssilaisten määrää kahdella ja hankimme kurssille apuohjaajan. https://www.flomembers.com/oulun-kiipeilyseura/events/register/a2557a7b2e94197ff767970b67041697
6. Seuran varusteet pitää aina varata ja maksaa etukäteen. Varustemaksu on laskettu sen mukaan että pystymme huoltamaan ja kehittämään varusteiden vuokraustoimintaa jäsentemme hyväksi. Seura ei vuokraa varusteita muille kuin seuran jäsenille. Pidättehän varusteista hyvää huolta, varusteet pitää kuivata sisätiloissa mahdollisimman pian käytön jälkeen. Seuran hakkuja ja rautoja ei saa käyttää teroittamisen opetteluun, vaan teroittaminen hoidetaan kokeneiden tekijöiden johdolla sovitusti. Seuran varusteita vuokrataan tästä lähtien täyttämällä tämä kaavake, sieltä myös löytyy varustelista joka tarkentuu lähiaikoina: https://forms.gle/aYNU6szDQoYVESkQ6 Lomakkeen täyttämisen jälkeen varustevastaavat ottavat yhteyttä ja sopivat varusteiden noudosta ja palautuksesta. Varusteet pitää varata hyvissä ajoin etukäteen jotaa varustevastaavat ehtivät vastata ja sopia varusteiden hausta.
7. Seuran omistama kiipeilytorni kutsuu harrastajia. Huomaa että varusteita vuokrataan nykyisin tuon yllä olevan lomakkeen kautta, koskee myös draikkakamoja.

1. The club plans to renew its website. If you can help with the renovation work, we are really grateful. Help is needed to write texts, update photos and transfer data. Probably the coding will be bought and we will get help with the design and appearance. If you can be a part of this, please tell us by replying to this email. We would like to have also english speakers to update the english version.
2. The autumn meeting is 14.11. Most of the current board has announced that they will be available next year as well, it would be good if one or two new board members joined each year. You can ask more about board work and tell your interest in advance with the current board, or by coming to the fall meeting. The meeting invitation comes at the end of October.
3. The new bouldering hall Kaamos Climbing will open its doors in Limingantulli on 21 October 2023. Opening day schedule:

4. 10 years of the Oulu climbing center. in honor of the birthday, they are organizing the Oulu Open bouldering competition on the holiday day 4.11. The race fee (€25) includes the competition participation fee, post-race meal and access to the evening party. If you don’t want to participate in the games, you can also buy a ticket just for the evening party. The party will include snacks, music, and of course a sauna and a hot tub! We also need help on Sunday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., then we will organize the 10-year celebration bouldering competitions for elementary school children.

6. Club equipment must always be reserved and paid for in advance. The equipment fee is calculated according to the fact that we are able to maintain and develop the equipment rental business for the benefit of our members. The club does not rent equipment to other than club members. Please take good care of the equipment, the equipment must be dried indoors and as soon as possible after use. The society’s picks and irons may not be used for learning sharpening, but sharpening is handled under the guidance of experienced workers. 7. The climbing tower owned by the oks invites enthusiasts.
