Kisojen suunnittelu on hyvässä vauhdissa ja kisatkin alkavat lähetsyä jo kovaa vauhtia. Lippukauppa aukeaa pian ja nyt on hyvää aikaa pohdiskella haluaisiko lähteä mukaan kisaamaan. Vielä on hyvin aikaa harjoitella ja päästä kokemaan kisatunnelmaa kisaajan näkökulmasta. Mikäli sinulla ei ole omia varusteita ja haluaisit mukaan kisaan saat sovitusti lainata seuran varusteita veloituksetta treeneissä sekä kisoissa. Kisalipun ostaneet saavat myös harjoitella jääkiipeilytornilla veloituksetta mikäli olet oulun kiipeilyseuran jäsen.
Finice2023 etsii myös talkoilijoita toteuttamaan kilpailut. Voit osallistua kilpailuiden järjestämiseen jo nyt etukäteen, ota yhteyttä jos voit olla jo etukäteen apuna (jaakko.o.risku@gmail.com). Suurin talkoolaisten tarve on itse kisaviikonloppuna 24-26.2.2023. Voit olla mukana kisahuumassa joka päivä tai vain osan päivästä. Tehtäviä on laidasta laitaan varmistajasta tuomariin ja kioskista järjestyksenvalvontaan.

Löytyisikö sinulta myös rakennusintoa ja haluaisit auttaa jo ennen kisoja tornin kunnostustöissä. Jäätornille tarvittaisiin talkoilijoita nyt joulukuussa. Uudet vanerit on saatava asennettua ennen kuin jäädytys voidaan aloittaa, joten hopi hopi ilmoittautumaan markus.huhtala79@gmail.com.Töiden vaativuus vaihtelee, luvassa mm. ruuvien lajittelua, varmistuslaitteen käyttöä, vanerien sahaamista ja vanerien ruuvaamista. Henkilönostin on käytössä usein viikonloppuisin, välillä myös arki-iltoina. Ilmoita Markukselle sähköpostissa päivämäärä(t) ja kellonajat jolloin pääset; nostin täytyy varata etukäteen.

Jääkiipeilyleiri
UIAA on järjestämässä taas tulevana talvena jääkiipeilyleiriä joka on tarkoitettu 16-26 vuotiaille. Mikäli jääkiipeily kiinnostaa kannattaa ehdottomasti tutustua leirin sisältöön UIAA:n nettisivuilla. Leiri järjestetään Ranskassa 19.-25.2.2023. Tässä linkki UIAA:n nettisivuille.
Jääkiipeilyretket
Tervetuloa seuran retkelle Korouomaan pe-su 9.-11.12. Retki on tarkoitettu vähintään jääkiipeilyn peruskurssin käyneille tai vastaavat omatoimisen kiipeilyn taidot omaaville jäsenille. Retkellä ei ole mukana erillisiä jääkipeilyoppaita. Retkellä on majoitus Metsokoululla, sekä sauna lauantaina. Retken hinta on jäseniltä 15€. Retkelle mennään kimppakyydeillä. Välinelaina retkelle on ilmainen, mutta varaa välineet normaalisti varustevastaavalta. Ilmoittaudu retkelle flowmembers-linkistä ja liity mukaan retken whatsapp-ryhmään, jossa sovitaan kyydit, kiipeilykaverit jne.
Seuraavat retket Korouomaan loppiaisena 6-8.1. ja ja 10-12.2.

Varustevuokraus
Seura vuokraa varusteita niin talvi- kuin kesäkiipeilyynkin.Varusteita vuokrataan vain seuran jäsenille. Vuokrauksen hinta on 10€ / vrk / varusteseuran tornivuorolle maksu on 5€ / vrk / varuste. Jos haluat vuokrata varusteita, laita ajoissa sähköpostia siitä mitä tarvitset ja milloin varusteet@oulunkiipeilyseura.fi. Varusteita luovutetaan ja palautetaan Oulun Kiipeilykeskuksella maanantaisin klo 17.15 ja keskiviikkoisin klo 18.00, ellei toisin sovita.
Vuokraaja on velvollinen huolehtimaan varusteiden palautuksesta ja OKS perii lisämaksua 10e/viikko lisämaksua, jos varusteita ei palauteta ajallaan. Huolla vuokraamasi välineet ennen palauttamista! Etenkin kuivaaminen on tärkeää. Hoitamattomista varusteista peritään mahdolliset huolto- ja korjausmaksut. Jos seuran varusteita hajoaa tai häviää, ilmoitathan siitä viipymättä. Vuokraaja on korvausvelvollinen ja suosimme sitä, että vuokraaja hommaa saman varusteen seuralle käyttökuntoisena.

FINICE2023
The ticket office will open soon and now is a good time to think about whether you would like to join the competition. There is still plenty of time to practice and get to experience the race atmosphere from a competitor’s point of view. If you don’t have your own equipment and would like to participate in the competition, you can borrow the club’s equipment for free during training and competitions. Those who bought a competition ticket can also practice at the ice climbing tower for free if you are a member of the Oulu climbing club.
Finice2023 is also looking for volunteers to run the competitions. You can participate in the organization of competitions already in advance, contact us if you can help in advance ( jaakko.o.risku@gmail.com ). The biggest need for the people is during the competition weekend itself, 24-26 February 2023. You can participate in the competition every day or only part of the day. There are tasks ranging from a security guard to a judge and from a cafe to law enforcement.

Do you also have a passion for construction work and would you like to help with the renovation of the tower even before the competition? Workers would be needed for the ice tower now in December. The new plywood has to be installed before the freezing can start, so hurry up and sign up at markus.huhtala79@gmail.com. The passenger lift is often used on weekends, sometimes also on weekday evenings. Inform Markus in an e-mail of the date(s) and times when you will be available; the lift must be reserved in advance.

Iceclimbing camp
UIAA is organizing an ice climbing camp again this coming winter, which is intended for 16-26 year olds. If you are interested in ice climbing, you should definitely familiarize yourself with the content of the camp on the UIAA website. The camp will take place in France on February 19-25, 2023. Here is a link to the UIAA website.
Rental equipment
The club rents equipment for both winter and summer climbing. Equipment is only rented to members of the club. The rental price is 10e /day/equipment. The fee for the tower shift is 5e /day/equipment. If you want to rent equipment, send an e-mail in time about what you need and when to varuseet@oulunkiipeilyseura.fi . Equipment is handed over and returned at the Oulu Climbing Center on Mondays at 17:15 and on Wednesdays at 18:00, unless otherwise agreed.
The renter is obliged to take care of returning the equipment and OKS will charge an additional fee of 10e/week if the equipment is not returned on time. Take care of the equipment you rented before returning it! Drying is especially important. Any maintenance and repair fees will be charged for untreated equipment. If the club’s equipment breaks down or is lost, please report it immediately. The renter is liable for compensation and we prefer that the renter procures the same equipment for the company in usable condition.
Iceclimbing trip
Welcome to club trip to Korouoma 9.-11.12. The trip is ment for members who have taken the basic course in ice climbing or have the needed skills for independent climbing (no guide) in Korouoma. The accommodation is at Metsokoulu and there is sauna on saturday. The trip costs 15€. Equipment rental is free for the trip, but do booking normally. Sign up to the trip by flowmembers link (payment) and join the Whatsapp group. Let’s organise car groups and climbing partners on the wa group.
