1. Finice on nyt järjestetty, viikonlopun kilpailut ja sitä edeltävät työt ovat sujuneet erittäin joustavasti ja loistavasti. Koko kisaorganisaatio on saanut paljon kehuja ja hyvää palautetta, jälleen kerran. Nyt torni on taas entistä paremmassa kunnossa myös meidän jäsenille. SUURET KIITOKSET KAIKILLE TALKOOLAISILLE ETUKÄTEEN JA KISAVIIKONLOPPUNA!! Mitaleja jaettiin jälleen paljon, erityisen ylpeitä olemme Suomen nuorten joukkuekilpailun voitosta. Onnea kaikille kilpailijoille ja mitalisteille!!
2. Tornilla tapahtuu: Tästä eteenpäin kiipeily tornilla on jäsenille edullisempaa, 5 € per päivä, ja sunnuntain ja keskiviikon (omatoimi)vuorot maksutta. Varusteet pitää vuokrata: varusteet@oulunkiipeilyseura.fi. Osoitehan on Alakyläntie 1070. Nyt myös jääseinät ovat käytössä niin pitkään kuin jäätä riittää.
8.3 on ilmainen jääkiipeily ja draikkakiipeily ilta tornilla 16-20.00 (jäsenille ja finice staff). Seuran varusteet on paikalla ja neuvontaa ja kiipeilyseuraa löytyy. Tervetuloa mukaan.
14.3 seuran epäviralliset speed kisat tornilla. Kuka kiipeilee jäällä nopeiten ylös? Köysi on valmiina ja samoin seuran speed hakut. Tämäkin on jäsenille ilmainen. Jos tarvitset kenkiä, ne pitää itse varata ja hakea (ilman veloitusta). Alkaen klo 18.00
3. Alppien kesäsuunnitelmien iltama 28.3 klo 18:00 OKK:llaGuillermo ja Markus suunnittelevat matalan kynnyksen vapaamuotoista tapaamista, jossa istutaan alas ja vaihdetaan ajatuksia kesäsuunnitelmista, myös alppikiipeilystä tai vuorikiipeilystä sekä tietysti sportista, trädista tai boulderista. Ilta on avoin kaikille, konkreettisilla suunnitelmilla tai ilman. Ajatuksena on jakaa ja oppia toisiltaan ja mahdollisesti löytää seikkailukumppaneita. Erittäin epävirallinen ja spontaani, toivottavasti monet teistä tulevat mukaan.
4. Kevätkokous ja seurailta 18.4 klo 18.00 (aiheena Euroopan sporttikalliot, jos olet lähiaikoina ollut jossain kiinnostavassa paikassa, voit ilmoittautua kertomaan paikasta muille heidi@oulunkiipeilyseura.fi). Aloitamme illan kevätkokouksella ja sen jälkeen seurailta, kiipeilyvuoro ja sauna ja palju.

7. Kalliokiipeily kursseille on nyt aukaistu tiedotuslistat. Jos aiot osallistua kalliokiipeilyn peruskurssille tai kalliokiipeilyn jatkokurssille, ilmoittauduthan listalle niin osaamme suunnitella tarvittavan määrän kursseja. Tiedotuslistalle ilmoittautuminen ei kuitenkaan sido mihinkään.

8. Kesällä tulee olemaan tauon jälkeen pohjoismainen junnuleiri, tällä kertaa Bohuslänissä Ruotsissa 16-22.7. Ilmoittautuminen on nyt käynnissä. Hinta on 316 € plus matkat. Suomesta lähtee kaksi ohjaajaa junnujen mukaan ja tarkoitus mennä kimppakyydeillä (ainakin Helsingistä eteenpäin). 1. Finice is now organized, the weekend’s competitions and the work before it have gone very flexibly and brilliantly. The entire competition organization has received a lot of praise and good feedback, once again. Now the tower is in even better condition for our members as well. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS FOR THE MAKING AMACING COMPETITION WEEKEND!! Many medals were awarded again, we are especially proud of the victory in the Finnish youth team competition. Good luck to all competitors and medalists!!
2. Happening on the tower: From now on, climbing the tower is cheaper for members, €5 per day, and Sunday and Wednesday (self-help) shifts are free. Equipment must be rented: varusteet@oulunkiipeilyseura.fi. The address is Alakyläntie 1070. Now the ice walls are also in use as long as there is enough ice.
8.3 is free ice climbing and drake climbing in the evening at the tower from 16:00 to 20:00 (for members and finice staff). The club’s equipment is there and there is advice and a climbing club. Welcome.
14.3 the club’s unofficial speed races at the tower. Who climbs up the ice the fastest? The rope is ready and so are the club’s speed axes. This is also free for members. If you need shoes, you have to book and pick them up yourself (without charge). Starting at 18:00
3. Alpine summer plans evening 28.3 klo 18:00 at OKK. Guillermo and Markus are planning a low key and informal gathering to sit down and exchange ideas and thoughts about summer plans, also those about alpine climbing or mountaineering, and of course sport, trad or boulder. The evening is open to everyone, with or without concrete plans. The idea is to share and learn from each other and possibly find adventure companions. Very informal and spontaneous, hope many of you can join.
4. Spring meeting and club evening 18.4 at 18.00 (the topic is European sport climbing spots, if you have recently been somewhere interesting, you can sign up to tell others about the place at heidi@oulunkiipeilyseura.fi). We start the evening with a spring meeting and after that a club evening, a climbing shift and a sauna and a party.

8. In the summer, after the break, there will be a Nordic summer camp, this time in Bohuslän, Sweden, from 16 to 22 July. Registration is now open, closes soon. The price is €316 plus travel. Two instructors will leave from Finland according to the trains and plan to carpool (at least from Helsinki onwards).
